Michelle Duran graduated from Penn State in 2000. She started her career as a Medical Social Worker at Christina Hospital. Michelle Duran was looking for more opportunities to move up so she left the field of Social Work and joined AstraZeneca in 2002.

She and her husband, Bob, have five grown children and live in Wilmington with their two dogs. Her friendly, detailed-oriented personality enables her to see the “big picture” and prioritize tasks, while following through on every item to ensure success. Before joining Patterson-Schwartz, Leslie Carpenter served as the Race Director for the Willowdale Steeplechase for the past eight years and remains on the Board. During her time at Willowdale, she also served as Director of the Pennsylvania Hunt Cup for almost two years; she is still a member of the PHC Race Committee.
